History

Project Born was formed in 1994 by Pint Capone and Frank Nitty, and signed to Psychopathic Records on the strength of a demo that they had given to Insane Clown Posse, who believed that they would become "the next Dayton Family".[1]

Psychopathic had originally intended to release the demo as it had been recorded, but Project Born lost the tape, resulting in the group having to record a different extended play, titled Born Dead, which was released in 1995, and featured appearances by Insane Clown Posse and Esham. However, the label was not as impressed by the new recording as they had been by the original.[1] The EP was unsuccessful according to Violent J's book, and the group was dropped by the label.[1]

In 2000, 2007, 2009. and 2011 Project Born performed at the Gathering of the Juggalos.[2]
